Job Brief
We are looking for creative Script Writer to write episodes contents for our podcast. You will create details of the script based on concepts or ideas, create stories for production, with a deep understanding of the storyline and target audience. He/ She should also have a basic understanding ability to write SEO friendly content and have strong grammar and writing capability. We are looking for someone creative, patient and motivated at work.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the entire content lifecycle, from concept & planning to uploading & promotion.
- Write and develop storylines, characters, plots, and situations according to the specifics of each program.
- Discuss content details with technical teams to ensure that it meets desired standards.
- Develop believable plots and characters.
- Ensure each episode is align with previous ones.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize all written content for SEO.
- Communicate across departments to feed relevant input back into content.
- Create blueprints for script based on research and creative vision of creative teams.
- Prepare short summaries of your ideas and selling explain them to producers/ development executives.
- Modify scripts according to the requirements of the show or series, to keep it in sync with character development.
- Assist writing other forms of marketing copy (landing pages, emails, website).
- Ensure there are no legal and copyright issues that could occur with the production of script.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the podcast industry.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience writing content for publication websites (please provide writing samples).
- Research topics independently and present info in an easy-to-understand way.
- Ability to independently generate new and relevant content ideas.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- A genuine interest in podcasting with an eye for detail.
- Excellent written and spoken communication.
- Good organization and time management.
Desired Skills
- Background in podcasting, content production, or marketing.
- Experience managing commercial social media channels.
